To ensure both optimal performance and safety, Fosbel employs a comprehensive prevention plan that considers all aspects of the work environment to minimize incident and EMR rates. We accomplish this with a three-point approach to safety instruction and maintenance that covers:

• An intense and comprehensive orientation program that includes:

  • A 5-day initial indoctrination

  • An operational mentoring system

  • Written, oral and practical exams to demonstrate competence

• Daily application of our LIBBS program

  • “Leading Indicators, Behavior-Based Safety”

  • Covers a combination of safety training, talks, regular meetings, information sharing, and assessments

• Maintenance of focus with structured training, review, and feedback sessions
